Run the System File Checker – this is the program that has the "responsibility" for finding out what is missing and corrupt and fixing it:

Hold down the Windows key and press R
Type this into the text box, space, slash and all exactly as written:
sfc /scannow
This will take anywhere from a few minutes to over an hour and may ask for your Windows disk.

If you are being told that dlls are missing when you start up your computer and you have recently had a virus attack, they may be leftover references to files that the virus installed and your anti-virus program removed. Ccleaner will take care of that safely:

Download and install Ccleaner (it's free).
Start it running and choose Registry.
From this point on, you repeat until no issues are found:
– Click on "Scan for issues"
– When the scan is finished and the "Fix selected issues" button becomes available (the text turns black) click that button.
– Choose to back up and use the name suggested – it includes Ccleaner's initials and the current date and time.
– Continue to fix ALL issues.
– Repeat until no issues are found.

prednisone is used for pain control, but doctors also use it for severe breathing problems also. i would recommend letting whatever doctor you see know that you have had a recent course of steriods and see what they say. Sounds like a pain management doctor would be the best way for you to get your pain under control. Go to webmd.com look up prednisone it will tell you how long they can be used and what side effects they have
